That Katy Perry reign just won't let up!

While 'California Gurls' is still kickin' your faves butts, her 2nd single 'Teenage Dream' (which I forgot to rate, 3.5/5) is breaking radio records, it has been added to 87 radio stations over the course of a week – the highest number of adds for a song ever. It has since been added to 101 stations, and just debuted at #38 on the Mediabase top forty airplay chart. It has already shifted 84,000 copies in it’s first week, and is currently still at #3 on the iTunes chart.

WOAH, It's really shocking how she became really popular. I hope she keeps the momentum and bag her first #1 album in the U.S.

Katy Perry unveils 'Teenage Dream (album)' + 'Teenage Dream (single)' cover art!

The photo above is the OFFICIAL ALBUM COVER for Katy Perry's upcoming album 'Teenage Dream'. I wonder why there's no font or any text in it. Anyways, she looks stunning, and I love the cotton candy! SWEET!

....and this is the OFFICIAL SINGLE COVER for Katy's new single 'Teenage Dream'. This should be the album cover IMO. As usual, she looks hot again and I like her 'colorful things theme' for her era. This next single is expected to be another smash, since the carrier single is breaking chart records recently.

Katy Perry in a Candy-filled performance!

Besides Miley Cyrus, another pop tart performed at 2010 MMVM yesterday in Canada. Katy Perry performed a sweet 'California Gurls' her surprising #1 hit.

The performance was dull. But thanks to the extravagant candy land themed stage and the hyped fans. It became a fun performance!

Katy Perry gives us a 'sweet' new music video

Katy Perry just released the music video for her latest #1 hit 'California Gurls' featuring Snoop Dogg, the lead single for her upcoming 2nd album 'Teenage Dream' and lemme' tell you, it's very sugar coated sweet video!

At first, my impression to the song was...*blank stare*. And it sounded like 'TiK ToK' of Kesha. But the song is a grower. And it obviously grew on me by the time i'm writing this.

The video is plain fun! Walking gummy bears! Lollipops, ice creams! And other creamy and delicious thing! This video reminded me though of Fergie's 'Fergalicious' video. But anyways it's a very creative video and I don't want you to miss it!

Katy Perry slams Lady GaGa on Twitter!

The latest celebrity showdown involves Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Singer Katy Perry has spared no expense to criticize Lady Gaga’s latest music video ‘Alejandro’. She tweeted on the popular social networking and micro blogging site Twitter that, “Using blasphemy as entertainment is cheap.”

This tweet was apparently in reference to Lady Gaga’s latest
music video, in which she is dressed up as a nun and is seen
swallowing rosary beads. One of the probable reasons why Katy
Perry got upset, was because her father is a pastor, and she had also indulged in contemporary Christian music prior to becoming famous.

It ought to be mentioned that there
has been no response at all, from
Lady Gaga or her representatives
regarding the negative tweet.

Katy Perry and the 'California Gurls' live in the 2010 MTV Music Awards

Russell Brand’s
obnoxious-yet-
extremely attractive
girlfriend Katy Perry
delivered the first
televised performance
of her new single
“ California Gurls”
today at the MTV
Movie Awards.
While Katy didn’t get
naked on stage like
she promised earlier
this week, she still
delivered a kick ass
performance. The
vocals were great, the
stage presence and
charisma were on
point and you can
never go wrong when
you ’ve got Snoop
Dogg by your side.
The performance
came to a climax
when a bunch of
beach balls (even
bigger than the ones
on her chest) were
dropped into the
crowd, turning the
performance into one
big beach party.

Now get down on your
knees and pray that
this song boots
Usher ’s “OMG” off the
top of the Hot 100!
