Lady Gaga has just surpassed Britney Spears as the most followed person on Twitter. At the time of this post, Lady Gaga has 5,674,003 followers while Britney Spears has 5,670,352.

Spears stole the 'most-followed on Twitter' title from Ashton Kutcher just three months ago. The comedic actor currently has 5,555,180 followers. Gaga's popularity on Twitter should not come as a shock. Gaga, 24, is the most popular online entity in the world. The Bad Romance singer has over 16 million Facebook fans and nearly 350,000 Youtube subscribers -- even President Barack Obama's popularity on the Internet comes in second place to Gaga's!

Oh oh! Lady GaGa won't be nominated on Grammy's due to change of rules!

It’s no help to Lady Gaga
now, but the Recording Academy said on Wednesday that it had changed a Grammy Awards rule that prevented that chameleon-like pop star from being nominated as best new artist for this year ’s awards, The Associated Press reported. Lady Gaga would seem to have been a jewel-encrusted, raccoon-mask-wearing shoo-in for the best new artist Grammy in 2010, except that her song “ Just Dance” was nominated in the best dance recording category in 2009, thus making her ineligible in the new artist category, according to the award ’s regulations at that time. (The Zac Brown Band won the award.) On Wednesday the Recording Academy, which oversees the awards, said previous Grammy nominees could be eligible for the new artist award as long as they haven ’t released full albums or won any Grammy Awards.

Really funny!!...seriously.

Just found this video on YouTube earlier and until now...it's on repeat! It's the funny parody of 'Alejandro' by Lady GaGa made by La Coacha.

The video started off with she singing the real thing, and then 'La Isla Bonita' and 'I Saw The Sign', both song sounded like GaGa's track...love the diction! And it's really fun to watch!

Katy Perry slams Lady GaGa on Twitter!

The latest celebrity showdown involves Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Singer Katy Perry has spared no expense to criticize Lady Gaga’s latest music video ‘Alejandro’. She tweeted on the popular social networking and micro blogging site Twitter that, “Using blasphemy as entertainment is cheap.”

This tweet was apparently in reference to Lady Gaga’s latest
music video, in which she is dressed up as a nun and is seen
swallowing rosary beads. One of the probable reasons why Katy
Perry got upset, was because her father is a pastor, and she had also indulged in contemporary Christian music prior to becoming famous.

It ought to be mentioned that there
has been no response at all, from
Lady Gaga or her representatives
regarding the negative tweet.

'Alejandro' the follow-up single from Lady GaGa's smash hit 'Telephone'. The song used to be my summer anthem but the video is just dissapointing. 8 minutes full of blah, bleek, and argh!
