KPOP ALERT: DOUBLE 2ne1 Music Videos!

First of:
The video for 'Go Away'. The song is not my type. But it's an anthem, for those who don't understand it.

1.5/5

In the video, 2ne1 member CL gets dumped by a bad boyfriend, but as with the end of any relationship, she has a little trouble letting him go. To numb the pain, the poor girl ends up trying to drink her troubles away, which leads to one of those drunken late night ‘surprise’ visits to the ex. Unfortunately, CL doesn’t exactly get the reaction she was hoping for when her ex drags her into a nearby alley and proceeds to give her a good ol ’ fashioned Chris Brown-ing! Of course, CL ’s bandmates aren’t about to sit back and let their homegirl get treated like a bitch, so they attempt to exact revenge by trying to beat the girl- basher in an explosive car race which ends on a very grisly note.

OVERALL...SUPER SUPER EPIC!

The second and the latest music video release is called 'Can't Nobody'. I also don't like the song coz' there are some parts in it that sounds creepy and it's pretty generic.

2.5/5

The video is awesome. A kpop standard. And the girls looked awesomely good!

KPOP ALERT: Dara shines on new 2ne1 music video!!

2ne1's comeback single 'Clap Your Hands' got it's video treatment and it was just released early today. The song is taken from their chart-topping 1 day old full length album 'To Anyone'. Oh! And they're gonna release TWO more videos on the upcoming days so stay tuned for that.

The song is pretty dope. The clapping sound is really my jam! 2nd favorite song this week!

4.5/5

Dara got the most parts on the song and obviously in the video also. Park Bom was really unnoticed I think. The video is cool, different settings, different costumes...kpop standard.

3.5/5

KPOP ALERT: Happy 1st Anniversary f(x)!

They previewed us 'La cHA Ta' and they gave us their 'Chu'. The fantastic ladies are celebrating their 1st Anniversary Today.

Here's their song 'Chu' and also my favorite from them!

Kylie Minogue OVERSHINES on 'Get Outta My Way' music video!

Pop World Superstar Kylie Minogue just premiered the official music video for her 2nd single 'Get Outta My Way' from her chart-topping new album 'Aphrodite'.

WOW.

Well, the song is super grower. At first, I felt like it was blah that's why I didn't add the song to my favorite 'Aphrodite' tracks. It's a fun track. And it will fit perfectly on the U.S. Hot 100 *crosses fingers*

3.5/5

While the song is okay...the video is GOLLYWOW! The graphics was outta this world! It's like 'Alejandro' video + 'Commander' video + 'Slow' video + 'In Your Eyes' video...too many to mention.

Just friggin' watch it!

Anyways, here's the video of Christina singing a Etta James cover 'Something's Got A Hold On Me', a cut from the movie.

KPOP ALERT: Taeyang got 1,000,000++ views on YouTube with comeback single!

It’s safe to say that Taeyang’s captured everyone attention with his latest international release album: in two days after hitting iTunes and various music sites for a global audience, the music video for I’ll Be There has captured Perez Hilton’s attention and now surpassed one million views on Youtube.

Well, there are other Korean acts achieving this feat and even surpassed this feat. Anyways, congrats Taeyang.

I've watched the video, and it's awesome! Worth the time! And the song is also good both in English and Korean.

KPOP ALERT: 4minute keeps the momentum with 'HuH' Music Video!

IT'S OFFICIAL, 4MINUTE IS MY BEST GROUP OF THIS YEAR, they just released the official music video for MY FAVORITE SONG OFF OF THEIR EP 'HuH'.

EPIC!

Well, 'I My Me Mine' is better but this is also super dope...+ my current favorite KPop male group Beast is in the video! What more can I ask for? They're super sexy, the choreography is aight, they look gorgeous, I love the settings so...A+++

KPOP ALERT: BoA in Electromagnetic, Supersonic, Bionic Music Video!!!

BoA and Heechul

Electro-pop goddess BoA just premiered the video of her ultimate Korean comeback single 'Hurricane Venus'

My Verdict:
The video is super good (cinematically speaking), her dance breakdowns are super hot, the costumes were great, I think it will look good in 3-D (stay tuned for that). It's not her best (the video for 'Eat You Up' still owns the throne) but it's a one hot solid effort!

NEW YOOAARK! Paloma Faith: Introduction

Well, maybe you don't know this woman, well...me too, her song became my favorite for the past week so I decided to introduce her to you.

Paloma Faith (born Paloma Faith Blomfield; 21 July 1985) is a British singer-songwriter and actress. In 2009, she released her debut single " Stone Cold Sober", then her debut album, Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?, which was certified Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. Her debut album stayed within the top 40 album charts for over 40 weeks. The album has spawned four singles: " Stone Cold Sober", "New York", title track "Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?" and "Upside Down". Faith made her feature film debut in the 2007 remake of St Trinian's.

Faith began her debut tour, the Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful Tour , on 12 February 2010. In April 2010, Faith announced a new tour to begin in October.

She's a good Amy Winehouse alternative but since I don't listen to Amy, Paloma is my best jazz singer...PROOF?

Check out the spine-tingling single 'New York', one of the few songs that I'll definately never forget from this year. The song of course is jazz, but the choir, the music, and her mid-ranged voice are the ones that made me have goosebumps.

Christina Aguilera shuts me down with 'You Lost Me' video!

I know that this post should've been posted yesterday but I decided not to since it was only an 'LQ Leaked Version'. But now, after weeks of waiting, 'You Lost Me' video finally made it's way to come to my screen. I can describe it in one word...

SUPERB!!!

It started out with a smoking gold gun and Christina was wearing a black dress, super simple, a mattress (BTW, she looked like she's in her 'Genie In A Bottle' era!) and then I like the 'Bionic part' where she was seen in negative view. And then she laid in a charcoal, until a man tries to pull her up and the background turns into fire and then she was wearing a white dress until the ending. The last seconds was legendary (for me) coz' she was SUPER SUPER SUPER Super pretty!

Random:
P!nk tweeted this:
'i just heard Christina Aguilera's new song 'you lost me' and I have to say, damn this girl can sing. I love this song.'

BACKTRAXX: Let It Slide - Joanna Pacitti

'Let It Slide' was Joanna Pacitti's first (and last?) Single from her 2006 first (and last?) album 'This Crazy Life'. I know that 90％ of people who visit my blog don't know her. So here's a short biography:

She was supposed to be playing the lead role as Annie in 'Annie: The Musical' but because of bronchitis, she was fired. She was also a contestant on 'American Idol season 9' but because of legal issues and rules (she relesed this album before she joined the show, and she claims that she is a friend of AI's producer) she was disqualified and right now, she's out of sight.

The song is super hot! Her soaring voice soared in the midst of the pop/rock sound!

5/5

The video is awesome too. She is pretty but prettier when she cartoonized herself! Very creative video!

KPOP ALERT: New and improved 4minute on their new single!

K-pop group 4minute just released the full music video for their latest Korean and Japanese single 'I Me My Mine' from their EP 'Hit Your Heart'.

The song is their BEST SONG EVER (although 'Hot Issue' was pretty dope). Their change of look and image is good. I love U.S./Euro/Electro/Korean sound of it. I love the chorus, the belts and the part where they sang 'click, click, click'.

5/5

The video is well crafted. It really looked like a Super Junior video but with more enjoyment. They look super hot and I really their choreography too! This is also their BEST VIDEO EVER (By a lightyear). Enjoy!

BACKTRAXX: Sneakernight - Vanessa Hudgens

'I want to make a catchy song about sneakers', that's what Baby V did last 2008 with her 1st single from her 2nd (my favorite) album 'Identified'.

At first, I thought it was pretty ugly song but I always hear this on the radio and fell in love with it! The song sounds like a glam-poppish with a retro twist and that's cute, the only negative I can say is her voice. It sounded like she's trying to be Christina Aguilera but she fell flat.

3/5

The prettiest thing about the song is the video! I really love those glowing sneakers and she really looked super dooper gorgeous. I like the dance scenes. Honestly, I'm never interested to hear the rest of her album but because of this vid, I thought I should give it a try and I kept on listening to her 2 albums almost every week up to now!

5/5

PLEASE VANESSA, MAKE A NEW ALBUM!

He's back! Lee Ryan gives you his 'Secret Love'

After the disbandment of Blue and many controversies, the 'belter' of the band Lee Ryan is all set for the release of his 2nd album 'Confessions', out in October. But before the album, of course, the 1st single and he just released the song 'Secret Love' in the U.K.

Now, the song sounds very euro-popish and it sounds like a leftover David Guetta track. The only thing I like about the song is his voice. The song is a little disappointment if you're a die-hard fan.

3/5

The video is nice, I think it's about Lee being kidnapped and at the end, the girl who captured Lee eventually let him free and they both joined the party. The dance scenes are decent and of course, Lee (again) is handsome in the vid.

3/5

BACKTRAXX: Everything - M2M

Just played my recordings from the old cassette tapes and I heard me singin' this song. I kept on thinking what it is and then everything pops out my mind, yes, It's my favorite song before! 'Everything' was m2m's lead single from their 2nd and last album 'The Big Room'...I used to love this song and it started to grow on me again.

The song is short and sweet definately my favorite m2m track. I like their voices in here and the feel-good sound.

5/5

And the video is my favorite video from them. They're pretty hot, especially Marion (Marit is cute too). JUST WATCH IT!

5/5

Lolene struts her stuff on 'Rich (Fake It 'Till I Make It)' music video

It's really overwhelming to see a singer having a really good debut single. Lolene's new song from her debut album 'Electrick Hotel' is a sure fire hit...TRUST ME.

The song is really a great club banger and since it's my jam last summer...I'm expecting a good video for it,.and guess what..SHE DID IT!

The video starts off as Lolene acts as a cashier in a very white grocer until everything turns purple and black. The video is full of neon lights, girls inside the empty refrigerators, glitters. I know it sounded like what Lady GaGa usually do but Lolene puts her own touch...classy and sexy at the same time. Until it was later revealed that she was just daydreaming.

GOOD GOOD!

5/5

BACKTRAXX: Brandy - Right Here (Departed)

One of my faves Brandy at her best. Right Here (Departed) was the carrier single from her 2008 album 'Human', also one of my favorite album.

The song was produced by Darkchild, the song's message is good, the beat is really great, her voice is just AMAZING and her trademark harmony thing is just out of this world!

5/5

The video for the song was good but nothing really spectacular about it and it kinda fell short compared to the song.

3.5/5

The Saturdays previews their NEW SINGLE!

My fave girl group EVER The Saturdays just released a sneak peak/teaser of the video of their latest single called 'Missing You' from their upcoming 3rd untitled album.

WHAT? 3rd album already?! Oh. I really wish they will release more singles from their 2nd album 'Wordshaker' since I love EVERY SINGLE song in it! But atleast they have a new song.

The song is kinda different from their previous album, 'Missing You' sounds like what everyone is releasing recently compared to the electro pop they had on 'Chasing Lights' and rock pop on 'Wordshaker' BUT it's not a bad thing! It sounds EPIC and based on the preview, the shouting part doesn't sound like Vanessa, I wonder who is it...

The teaser for the video also looks EPIC. They're freaking hot! Especially Frankie! I love the choreograhy! I'll stay tuned for that.

I WON'T GIVE MY VERDICT FIRST COZ' I HAVE NOT HEARD THE FULL SONG YET. :)

Katy Perry gives us a 'sweet' new music video

Katy Perry just released the music video for her latest #1 hit 'California Gurls' featuring Snoop Dogg, the lead single for her upcoming 2nd album 'Teenage Dream' and lemme' tell you, it's very sugar coated sweet video!

At first, my impression to the song was...*blank stare*. And it sounded like 'TiK ToK' of Kesha. But the song is a grower. And it obviously grew on me by the time i'm writing this.

4/5

The video is plain fun! Walking gummy bears! Lollipops, ice creams! And other creamy and delicious thing! This video reminded me though of Fergie's 'Fergalicious' video. But anyways it's a very creative video and I don't want you to miss it!
