New UPDATE...

Ugh, sorry again guys. The debut of my new blog which is called 'The Music Geek' should've been launched last monday (nov. 15) but because of some school works and many many other activities, I haven't even started making the header and the design! I'm really lazy.

Sorry about my rant LOL.

So the tentative opening of my new site is on Sunday (nov. 28).

Yes Yes YES! I'm back!

I already gathered tremendous amount of ideas to add to my new blog.

I just need 15 days to think of a new name and site.

FAREWELL.

Guys! It's really really hard for me to do this but I think, it's the best option that I can do. I'm really busy in school and my personal life.

And I kinda lost my interest in blogging for the past couple of weeks...

I PROMISE THAT I WILL BE BACK. BUT NOT HERE IN MUSIC CRITIC BUT MAYBE A NEW FORMAT. JUST GIVE ME TIME TO COLLECT IDEAS AND THOUGHTS.

...AND I WILL COME BACK WITH VENGEANCE.

I'm still ONLINE everyday, in FACEBOOK and TWITTER. You can find them here.

...THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE SUPPORT! GOODBYE FOR NOW!

NOOOOOOOOOO! New Kelly Rowland album pushed back to 2011

Despite buzz-worthy songs like “Commander”, “Rose Colored Glasses”, and “Grown Woman”, Kelly Rowland has confirmed that her fans will not see a new album from her until 2011! During Fashion week in NY, Kelly told Paper magazine:

Paper: Your new material continues
to receive a ton of buzz. When can
we expect the album?

Kelly Rowland: Next year for right
now. I ’m still working on it. A friend
of mine, Bryan Michael Cox who did
Mariah ’s “We Belong Together” with
Jermaine Dupri — we’re all going
back in the studio because they tell
stories so well. So we ’re going back
in to write more stories.

DOUBLE COVER ALERT: Solange and Nicki Minaj!!!

Nicki Minaj shows off her curious world in the October 2010 issue of Out Magazine, on stands September 13.

Peep Solange on the cover of the September/October issue of ‘Fashizback’.

KPOP ALERT: DOUBLE 2ne1 Music Videos!

First of:
The video for 'Go Away'. The song is not my type. But it's an anthem, for those who don't understand it.

1.5/5

In the video, 2ne1 member CL gets dumped by a bad boyfriend, but as with the end of any relationship, she has a little trouble letting him go. To numb the pain, the poor girl ends up trying to drink her troubles away, which leads to one of those drunken late night ‘surprise’ visits to the ex. Unfortunately, CL doesn’t exactly get the reaction she was hoping for when her ex drags her into a nearby alley and proceeds to give her a good ol ’ fashioned Chris Brown-ing! Of course, CL ’s bandmates aren’t about to sit back and let their homegirl get treated like a bitch, so they attempt to exact revenge by trying to beat the girl- basher in an explosive car race which ends on a very grisly note.

OVERALL...SUPER SUPER EPIC!

5/5

The second and the latest music video release is called 'Can't Nobody'. I also don't like the song coz' there are some parts in it that sounds creepy and it's pretty generic.

2.5/5

The video is awesome. A kpop standard. And the girls looked awesomely good!

KPOP ALERT: Dara shines on new 2ne1 music video!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

2ne1's comeback single 'Clap Your Hands' got it's video treatment and it was just released early today. The song is taken from their chart-topping 1 day old full length album 'To Anyone'. Oh! And they're gonna release TWO more videos on the upcoming days so stay tuned for that.

The song is pretty dope. The clapping sound is really my jam! 2nd favorite song this week!

4.5/5

Dara got the most parts on the song and obviously in the video also. Park Bom was really unnoticed I think. The video is cool, different settings, different costumes...kpop standard.

3.5/5

Check Out Rihanna's Only Girl (In The World) official single cover!!!

WOOH! RED.

Good. But her red hair really get on my nerves.

HOLD ON TO YOUR WIGS!! Willow is ready to 'Whip My Hair'!!!

Willow Smith (Will Smith's daughter) song just surfaced the internet world today. It's called 'Whip My Hair', an old Rihanna song reject from 'Good Girl Gone Goat' era.

And by the way, she' s only 9 years old! Yes! You saw that right! Only 9 years old but already snatching weaves and wigs. Who mad?

It's actually funny coz' this song is billion times better than Rihanna's so-called 'explosive' and 'electrifying' 'Only Girl (In The World'.

I loooove the song to death! The sounds were aight, the swagga is there, (Which is unbelievable for a 9 years old, for me). The chorus is super catchy and will probably stuck to your head and you can't resist on pressing the 'repeat' button. Hope, she'll have a successful music career.

Damn. 9 years old? I can't.

FIRST LISTEN: Only Girl (In The World) - Rihanna

WOOH! THE HYPE! The song was leaked 10 mins. ago while I'm writing this. 'Only Girl (In The World)' is the lead single from Rihanna's upcoming album 'Loud'.

The song was surprisingly good! Her voice is really keeps getting better! Kinda like the sound, very David Guetta-ish.

My early verdict is:

4/5

Jesse McCartney wants you to 'Shake'!

Jesse McCartney's new single 'Shake' just leaked and the hungry bloggers (including me) are already posting it.

Well the song is okay (Jesse's standards) but better than others. It kinda has this 'Leaving' aura which is good but that song was way better. I'm sure pop radios are ready to blast this song.

3.5/5
