Singer and television personality Cheryl Cole has contracted malaria and is being treated in hospital, a spokesman said on Tuesday. She was already adviced by the doctors to cancel her work commitement earlier this week.
Newspapers reported on Monday that she had fainted during a photoshoot for her second solo album at the weekend and was diagnosed with exhaustion and gastroenteritis (hope I spelled that one right).
