KPOP ALERT: Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo raise the age limit for viewers!

The broadcasting committee of review has officially decided to take action because of the majority of female singers and back dancers dressing too sensually on the three main music programs – Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo.

These three music shows are and have been intended for viewers aged 12 years and above, but the frequently broadcasted sensual dances and the appearances (clothes) of the female singers as well as of the back dancers make it unsuitable for the intended age group and not meeting the classification criteria anymore.

The committee had given warnings to these three music shows for being ‘ frequently sensual’ and have told them to take some action, but things are still in the loop with more and more female artists having stage appearances that show more skin, etc. And finally, the music shows decided to act after a final warning.

From now on, the intended age group for these three music shows will changed to viewers aged 15 years and above. There’s always Youtube though.
